Hey There, It’s your trusty intern Morgan again!

Tuesday was our second day of The Youth Media and Health Institute 2015, and man oh man it was an eventful day! I can’t wait to share it with you all!

Tuesday our students had the really fun opportunity to go and visit some farms all over the state! The goal of this institute is to have a 3 to 5 minute video of their time on the farm they went to and their interview with a farmer or owner of the farm! So Tuesday was a big day for the students!

As I priory posted, on Monday the students had the opportunity to get into groups and create their list of questions and a theme they wanted to incorporate into their video, so on Tuesday these kids were ready to go! They brought their portable cameras, and their list of questions and explored these farms and got lots of footage! These students acted like pros! They used the skills that they learned on Monday to help them capture beautiful footage, and personally I cannot wait to see how these videos turn out!

When all of the students returned, they spent the remainder of their day learning how to use the software Final Cut Pro to edit and piece together the shots that they had captured earlier that day

Their videos are coming along great! Make sure you stay tuned to the American Graduate Blog, and our twitter page to keep up to date on all of the exciting activities happening this week!

All of these awesome photos seen above were taken by my fellow intern Joseph Biggs!

Talk to you guys soon!
